Managers and supervisors have great influence when it comes to retaining their employees. Yet many managers do not see how their behavior impacts their work environment or understand how to create an environment that brings out the best in their people. The Management Development Process™ (MDP) is designed to turn managers into leaders. The MDP addresses the developmental needs of managers as workplace trends move toward fewer layers of management, increasingly empowered employees, and greater personal accountability.

The MDP is not a "quick fix" program. The process builds managers' skills over an 18- to 24-month period comprised of on-the-job application exercises and a series of training modules. The program helps managers develop the knowledge and skills they need to control their work environment rather than direct their people. They also gain valuable insights on how to coach, counsel, and build the trust of their employees.

3-ring instructor's manual includes video and CD-ROM with participant reproducibles.

Requires purchase of one DiSC® Classic, Work Expectations Profile, Team Dimensions Profile, Dimensions of Leadership Profile, Personal Listening Profile, Time Mastery Profile, Coping & Stress Profile, Discovering Diversity Profile, and Role Behavior Analysis (optional) per participant.
